About Nascent Constellation
The stories contained in Nascent Constellation have their start in the time I lived in Provincetown, MA. While working on a manuscript for a novel, I wrote a series of short stories, not to mention a 200 page web site called Provincetowndaily.com. The stories were originally out-takes from a work in progress, but from these a trilogy formed. I named the collection Nascent Constellation.
I've read or told these stories at open mics from Massachussetts to Florida, North Carolina, and New Orleans. This is the first time I've put them in print. The stories are about friendships, kindness, and grace. I have been blessed. My life is rich with these experiences, and now, I share them with you.
The essay, John, a tribute to John F. Kennedy, Jr., is back online.
In March, 2007, I won my first writing grant, the KARES grant from New Orleans Literary Institute.
Photos I took at the Tennessee Williams Literary Festival are now online.
June, 2007, I performed the second part of In Heaven There Are No Rules for a delightful audience at the Maple Leaf Bar in New Orleans.
